Once I'm done with The V.O.B, I'm starting a one-act called... "Doll-Maker". Yes, I have to get this out now, before I
1. forget about it during the course of my imaginitivities.
2. get so overwhelmed by it's awesomeness, that I quit my musical, which is a no-no.
Okay, so Rebecca Connel is any ordinary girl, born with the gift of thick, red hair. She meets a man named Ethan Reeves, a kind and hearty but mysterious man who proposes he is a retired success of a doctor. They become fiances, and a perfect match at that, but Rebecca starts to become suspicious of Ethan's "part-time job". Rebecca eventually finds out she's walked into a nightmare: Ethan has not only lost his first pregnanat wife to a cruel death, he has aparently been reconstructing his daughter out of past lovers.
Ethan gives Rebecca three days to decide whether she would rather marry him or be used as the final piece of Franken-girl: her scalp and hair. Over the course of those three days she attempts to console herself, seduce Ethan into releasing her, find a way to escape, and decide if she should kill Ethan. At the end of three days, she can't decide, and Ethan becomes enraged and tries to kill her.
Suddenly, little Jessica wakes up, taking a first look at the world she was built into. Ethan becomes so overwhelmed that even the knife through his stomach - delivered by his daughter - was hardly to be believed. In the end, Rebecca escapes back into the world, only wondering in fear what would happen to the doll, as she watched over her father's carcass, waiting for her father to wake up.
